Don’t buy a Netgear FVS124G

I had two of these routers lying around and needed a router quickly, so I tried one and it continually crashed under any kind of minor load on the LAN ports, so much so that it appeared to be dropping packets and then eventually just locked up and was un-pingable. I tried the other one, it also did it.

They were shit anyway, the ping times on the LAN side were completely random, but never really dropped below 2ms which when you’re connected directly with a short cable to it is really bad. I purchased a Draytek router and immediately saw that the latency was 0.2ms. And it didn’t lock up. And it’s totally fine.
