However Bob Fielding a local Lib Dem got in at Parish level - and the County election wasn't all that far off a Lib Dem recovery so I think as long as they don't keep going on about improving housing for everyone (not appropriate in this ward as we just pay for everyone else without getting any help ourselves) I think they have a very good chance. Not for the idea to turn loss making guest houses into nice little profitable house developments but for announcing "news" several times. That makes the people think you are doing lots, rather than the truth that you are promising the same thing you did last year and still haven't actually done. Maybe the plan is to keep announcing this policy without doing it until they do actually knock the whole area down? If that's the case, at least taxpayers' money won't be wasted. Blame Gordon.
