Richard Madeley was on Question Time the other night talking about this and make some excellent points. Like Mr Madeley said when you come down at 2 in the morning confronted by a burglar who is possibly armed and could hard you or your family you grab the nearest implement and chase them off or do what you need to, to protect yourself. You don't stand there thinking what should I do to make sure the British injustice system doesn't jail me. I think we should adopt a similar system to America where you can defend your property and yourself by any means necessary. The police need to exercise common sense also. Mr Hussain's 'victim' is in fact now so 'brain damaged' he has gone on another crime spree since the 'attack'. You did the right thing Mr Hussain. It should be pointed out though that Patrick Mercer a Conservative MP tabled a Private Members Bill on Householder Protection and it got no interest from MPs. Labour has done nothing on this issue and I don't trust anything a Labour MP says. Only a new Government will resolve this problem. LABOUR OUT 2010!!!!
