You may have heard about this, but another Blackpool publicity website has been unveiled. It’s called Blackpool the Movie and is supposed to give people an X-Factor style experience of Blackpool. Apparently they are using the voice of the X Factor, Peter Dickson, to give it that extra polish.
To be honest it looks more like a data mining tool in order to determine where people are from that are visiting Blackpool, but regardless I had a go on it just now.
But I didn’t get very far. For some reason it wouldn’t let me upload a picture. In Firefox, I was clicking to add a picture and the site didn’t respond so I tried it in Internet Explorer and that didn’t seem to work either.

It works in Firefox. Its quite funny. They integrate your first name and attach it to all sorts like performers in the Tower, a penguin, posters on the Water park and more fun.
At the time I wrote the article it didn’t (after having heard it advertised on the radio!).
Can’t you attach your photo and stuff to it?
