William Hague MPA newsletter from Ron Bell shuttled into my mailbox on Friday night advertising a wine and cheese afternoon at the Queens Hotel on Thursday the 11th.

It’s on between 14.30 and 17.00 and the guest speaker is none other than William Hague MP, so it’ll probably be quite good even if you wont be voting for Ron Bell.

Seems like a snip at £10 per head, although I don’t know whether there are any tickets left. If anyone closer to it than me reads this, give us an update!

If you want to enquire, phone one of these people;

    Sounds like a good event but I am working unfortunately so I wouldn’t be able to go if I wanted to. But I think William Hague is a fantastic parliamentarian and will be a valuable in Mr Cameron’s cabinet.

    One of the best Prime Ministers Britain never had.

    He was right man wrong time as no Tory leader would have stood a chance after 1997.

    He used to make Blair look stupid at PMQs and always does whenever he’s up against ‘rear of the year’ (i.e. ARSE !) Harman.

      Very good point, he was a very good leader but in at the wrong time. But I am glad to see heavyweights like William Hague and Ken Clarke are on Cameron’s top team. Iain Duncan-Smith was not a very good leader but since then he has shown to be quite effective in an advisory capacity.

      What I like about him, and perhaps why he riles Labour front benchers so much, is that he is utterly calm when he’s at the despatch box whereas Labour rant and rave like desperate junkies craving for a fix.

      He doesn’t give them any reaction to work on. Case in point is PMQs last week where Harperson got more and more shouty and angry whilst Hague drilled the knife in with calm collected comebacks.

    He did show up Bliar, thats true, LABOUR OUT, MARSDEN OUT 2010!
