In 1993 an innocent young boy James Bulger was abducted from his mother in Bootle and brutally attacked and murdered by two evil 10 year olds. They were promptly arrested and charged and convicted of murder. They got a measly EIGHT years which I find sickening, Michael Howard then Home Secretary applied to extend their sentence but it was vetoed. If I had my way they would never have ever been released.
These 2 are evil scumbags and yet because of some stupid human rights ruling in 2001 they were released from prison with new identities and anonyminity costing hundreds of thousands of pounds a year. These two are dangerous killlers why they were ever released is beyond me. They should have not have been given protection and new identities they should spend the rest of their worthless lives behind bars.
Now Jon Veneables now 27 has committed a breach of licence and is back in prison but nobody will let the public or even the Bulger family know what is happening.
I think we have a right to know and I especially feel the Bulger family has a right to know. It made me laugh hearing Brown on the news this afternoon bleating on about ‘Let the justice system take its course’, the fucking justice system is why these evil scum have been released and protected to begin with. The justice system in this country will allow dangerous people back into the community but keeps vital information secret when it is in the public interest.
If I had my way these evil killers should be locked up for the rest of their lives and made to think about what they done to that innocent young child.

These -add News of the World style adjective here- killers have been punished for the abhorrent crime they committed. They are still being punished. They will be punished for the rest of their lives as they should be. They will have it hanging over them forever which is probably more punishment then killing them I have no sympathy for them.
But read the transcripts of the trail and there testimony’s. Understand the punishment they were given. While I agree 8 years is far too short a time in prison they were 10 years old.
If anything the parents should do there fucking full sentence also. If you bring a child up knowing nothing of wrong or right, of action and consequence and of what being a person living with other people is all about then can you expect these children to be anything other then animals?
How anyone without the facts can call these two “dangerous killers” or “evil” still is downright stupid. As after all this time its a total assumption. It COULD be true but who knows, nether you or I.

As for Zimbabwe, up until about 2000, it largely used the British system that it inherited from the 1950′s and had a very low crime rate, because everyone knew that if you committed a crime you would have to pay a price for it and that would include hanging for a murder.

It was because of the European Court of Human Rights they were released. I agree with Bruise in saying that they tortured this innocent young child as well as murdered him, this didn’t happen by accident, they knew what they were doing. I disagree with those who say they have been ‘punished’ I don’t feel they have, given full protection at a substantial cost to the taxpayer and allowed to live almost ‘normal’ lives, it is sick. The only ones who have been punished here are James Bulger parents, they are the ones with the life sentence. They should have thrown the key away in 1993 as far as I am concerned. Well, the Conservatives have proposed to implement a minimum and maximum sentence for all crimes, so that we know the basic sentence any criminal will get.

It’s justice because it’s the ONLY sure fire way to guarantee that these monsters would never have harmed another man, woman or child in the UK. If the allegations are true about the nature of his latest incarceration then that could perhaps have been at least one less child harmed.
As for who would pull the trigger, or push the syringe then I’m sure that there would be no shortage of volunteers.
Perhaps you’d like to try and “explane” to me what would be a better way of dealing with them.
What’s it to be ? A comfy cell, lots of regular exercise, playstations, access to education unavailable to those outside of prison ?

The man concerned is the subject of someone’s vendetta, or at the very least, some arsehole’s misguided suspicions. He isn’t “having to deny” – he absolutely ISN’T Jon Venables. If he’s still walking the streets whilst Venables is in prison, then it quite clearly isn’t him!
Check numerous online sources for confirmation that it is not the man in question.

There was a rumour a few years back about one of the Bulger killers being found/discovered in Fleetwood and he allegedly got a hiding, he was supposed to have been moved.I dont know if it were true though, it was only a widespread rumour.

Murder should carry a COMPULSORY 25-year MINIMUM sentence, none of this you will serve 6 years before parole. But also this ludicrous little known rule that makes acquitted prisoners pay for their board and lodging out of their compensation MUST be scrapped. I find it sickening that an innocent person who spends years wrongly imprisoned is charged for their stay. LABOUR OUT 2010!!!!
