Went on a day visit to Liverpool yesterday with the girlfriend and some mates and on very strong recommendation gave Red Hot in the fabulous Liverpool One a try.
For £12.99 you get an international all-you-can eat buffet including chinese, cajun, indian, italian, japanese, english, thai and mexican cuisine.
We had booked ahead for 7pm and were greeted by a friendly host who took us straight to our very nicely prepared table for 5. We ordered our drinks which were swiftly delivered (drinks are not included in the price) and then head off to the buffet.
You pick up a ‘hot plate’ or ‘cold plate’ depending on which course you decide and then quite literally the world is your oyster.
I started off with a chicken tikka massala and pilau rice. When you have finished with that course a passing waiter will take away your finished plate and you collect a clean plate and start again. I then followed with pepperoni pizza, fries, shish kebab and some chicken nuggets. Then had a selection of deserts including ice cream, cream slices, apple crumble and pick n mix sweets.
Overall we were all very very impressed with Red Hot, we got fantastic value for money at £12.99 each (drinks separate but sensibly priced). The service was excellent the staff were friendly, helpful and accomodating at all times. It was a thoroughbly enjoyable evening.
Next time anyone is in Liverpool One, do yourself a favour and try Red Hot, the name lives up to the hype.

Cheers TB, food for thought, lol, did u get my article I said i would send? are u on phils email address?
I haven’t recieved anything, I have a separate email, I will send you my email address to your e-mail.
I sent it to phils contact address,do u want mine?
I’ve got your email off the Administrator page, I’e sent you mine just now.
For some reason the server has bounced it back basically saying the address doesn’t exist or some rubbish. I’ll have to get Phil to forward it to me.
I hear they are gonna build 600 houses on marton moss?
You should write an article on it Harold, I have been so busy with work this week and I am lacking any inspiration for articles. Although I am getting tempted by these militant unions calling strikes here there are everywhere, what next Scargill making his comeback?
Has anyone tried the Michael Wan’s Mandarin Restaurant going there Monday never heard of the place?
I went 10 years ago, it was fine but expensive.
Best in Town but take 3 credit cards!!!!!!!!
Glad to hear its good but fuck the bill I not paying. Yeah me.

Sat in restaurant now. Awful place. Was told there would be a 45 min wait for a table. That was nearly 2 hours ago. Still no sign of us eating. Let’s try somewhere else.
