Former defence secretary is new insult

HE HAS been out of the picture for a while already aside from his exposition as a cash-for-lobbying facilitator but Geoff Hoon must today finally accept the end of his public career after Lewis Hamilton was branded a ‘Hoon’ for performing boy racer stunts on a public road in Australia.

The state of Victoria has taken it one step further in protecting itself from multi-millionaire, property speculating former defence secretaries and has implemented ‘anti-Hoon legislation’, complete with a ‘Hoon Hotline’  on 1800 333 000 and a ‘dob in a Hoon’ publicity campaign!

This is a landmark decision and this kind of legislation may well be replicated worldwide to protect nations from other nasties, such as ‘Blairs’ and ‘Mandelsons’.
