It has long been known the BBC is biased to the left and now they have admitted it. However they are claiming those days are gone and the ‘Beeb’ is now unbiased and impartial. I was never convinced.

But this proves my point all too well. I am sick to death of hearing about the unions and their militancy on the news. The news are giving the unions plenty of airtime but the Government doesn’t get a split second to speak. Other than a 30 second snippet by Vince Cable simply saying ‘we will not be intimidated’. Now the Beeb are planning to strike on the 20th October, just an ordinary day most years but a very crucial day this particular year being the day of the ‘Spending Review’. Then as a definite show of left-wing bias they are also planning an unecessary strike on the days of the Conservative Party Conference and I am furious of this betrayal and this is yet further proof that this is just a left-wing witchhunt against the Tories by the unions, this is isn’t about the workers.

The BBC should remember they are a PUBLIC organisation and the public will not take kindly to this shambolic show of left-wing bias.

This has got to stop, I think the time has come when the Beeb should be privatised or at least some kind of radical reform, this is just ridiculous.

Why are all the militant unions targeting the Conservative conference also? Last time I checked, there were TWO parties in Government and at the end of the day Labour is to blame for this mess and the cuts, not the Tories.

This left-wing militancy has to stop. These strikes will not be getting my support and I sincerely hope they will be blocked.

  1. Oh No More Unions!

  2. Just to add validity to this post, the second gunman on the grassy knoll MIGHT of been a union member! Oh and mind control drugs in the water…

  3. Sayeeda Warsi has reminded the BBC of its charter and that it has to have sufficient cover to make the strike virtually ineffective so I don’t think this is going to end up the big show down that the unions want. Mrs F was once a NUT and they were just as radical trying to strike all the time. In the end she switched unions as they were just far too much. Nothing to do with improving teaching or conditions for children – all about pettiness because Labour weren’t in power. And only Labour supporters got promotions in her Labour controlled authority no matter how useless at their jobs they were.

    • That is exactly what I have been saying, this is just an anti-Tory witchhunt, yet when I say that I get branded a ‘fascist’ on one website which I think is totally off the mark. These unions don’t give a toss about the ‘workers’ this is all trying to get back at the Tories. I hope the Coalition does what Margaret Thatcher did and stand up to these bullies and bring them down.

  4. Question time last night was all about the Labour leadership election with 50% of the audience Labour party members. I don’t remember similar issues for Nick Clegg being elected – or David Cameron. Does anyone else?

  5. Tel aviv zionist plot to control the world now that is a new high point

  6. In all fairness I do remember a leadership special for Hauge, Smith and Howard although I don’t remember one for Cameron doesn’t mean there wasn’t one after all when John Smith became leader of the Labour party I don’t think there was much fuss on question time about that until a couple of months after. I know Clegg was on question time with his opposition in the run up to the Lib-Dem leadership race. So the leadership for the parties were covered perhaps not in the identical format but similar.

    • They dont do UKIP and the BNP,lol

    • I don’t actually remember that but I’ll take your word for it. But in any event do we really want any leadership elections covered on Question Time in this manner? And given that the BBC had cut it down to two candidates pretty much as soon as the whole thing kicked off anyway, why bother pretending the other 3 have a cat in hell’s chance?

      • I think Leadership contest specials are a waste of time. They always give disproportionate coverage to Labour on Question Time, but then like the Gazette the Beeb is pro-Labour. But they are totally pointless especially when it is Labour, all they do is praise each other, there is no debating or back stabbing they all preach about how great the other guys are. Dimbleby will say ‘Diane Abbott if you were not standing, who would you be backing’. Abbott will then reply ‘It is not for me to speculate who the Leader will be, as I have a great amount of respect for my fellow candidates, they are all equally capable of being the leader’ some tripe like that they all trot out.

      • Question time did do a special leader debate with Cameron and Davis went Head to Head which reading the reports on it Cameron won easily. Do these specials do any good I suppose it depends if you are interested in them and have any say in it. I have to say the conservative leadership head to head left such a strong impression on me I forgot all about it.

        • I have to agree there, I didn’t watch the Labour leadership special because it would have had me reaching for the sick bag and feeling like kicking the TV screen in anger watching those smarmy little gits.

  7. Diane Abbott = the new Harriet Harman,a bigoted racist.

  8. Ah yes! Diane ‘Slimcea Girl’ Abbott. The real “socialist” standing for the leadership. When it was exposed that she sent her son to a private school she retorted that it was because the quality of state schools in Hackney was so poor. The lazy journalist should have then pointed out that as she’d been Hackney’s MP for twenty years at that point then she’d had plenty of time to remedy said shortfalls in the education system in Hackney. Another Orwellian ‘Pig’ at the trough.
