AS YOU may have noticed, I have changed the search box on this site so that it now uses Google custom search and should return the pages that you want rather than irrelevant ones as the WordPress default search tended to do. It’s been a quiet few weeks of news after the general election splurge, but fortunately thanks to court clerk Christine Dean, the site has received another boost to its visitor numbers. This month we have seen more growth in visits, with 5958 individual visits compared with 5020 last month: a rise of 18.7%. There were 24,313 pages viewed by 2081 unique visitors. As you can see, since a few people have slagged off my site, I’m changing the theme of the site to something a bit more modern. So it’s a work in progress. I’ll have to do a new logo and everything. Thoughts are appreciated!

I’ve moved the site on to a different web server software called nginx, which should be a lot faster than Apache. Nginx (pronounced “engine X”) was written by Igor Sysoev in order to be able to handle the so-called C10k problem, or in laymans terms be able to handle 10,000 concurrent web server connections.
