The North West Development Agency (NWDA) for anyone not aware is basically an organisation headquartered in Warrington which is charged with distributing funding throughout the North West. Blackpool Council’s top brass are today sending letters out to staff telling them they are getting massive paycuts or payrises. Apparently the payrises are MAINLY among lower-paid workers. Blackpool Council executives Julian Kearsley and Steve Pullan have been relieved of their positions and will be leaving their Council offices next month in a blitz of cost cutting.
